I AM CHRISTINA
Event professional, romantic, and mother. In love with authentic moments, elegance, and stories that last.

As a wedding photographer in Starnberg, I accompany couples who want to truly experience their day—and look beautiful while doing so.
I am delighted you are here. I am Christina—romantic, event professional, and mother, with a deep sense for authentic moments and a penchant for elegance. I believe that exceptional wedding photography begins with trust. With composure, attentiveness, and the courage to simply let go. For the majority of your day, I accompany you discreetly—close by, forward-thinking, and unobtrusive. And at the right moments, I deliberately introduce my editorial perspective. The result is not an either-or. It is both: authentic and elegant.
MY PATH TO
Wedding Photography
My own wedding
When I got married myself, I experienced how a wedding day truly feels.
How many emotions, decisions, and expectations converge at once.
I know how vulnerable this day can be.
And how valuable it is to have people around you who provide security and radiate calm.
This experience remains the foundation of my work to this day.

Professional reorientation
With the birth of our second child, I began to reorganize my professional priorities.
Time, closeness, and responsibility took on a different meaning.
And with that, the desire to align my work more consciously.
During this phase, the decision matured to give photography a new significance—
clearer, more focused, and with greater conviction.

Focus on weddings
After initial years in family photography, my path clearly crystallized.
Weddings require more than just a good eye.
They require oversight, empathy, and the ability to remain calm even in emotional moments.
I decided to place weddings at the center of my work—
with attentiveness, responsibility, and respect for this day.

Arrived
Today, I accompany couples in Munich, at Lake Starnberg, and throughout Europe—with the experience of nearly 100 photographed weddings.
This experience gives me confidence.
In workflows. In dealing with people. And in situations that require composure.
I have found my style: documentary at heart, editorial in vision. For most of the day, I observe: quietly, closely, and proactively. At the right moments, I deliberately introduce form and elegance. This creates images that feel natural and appear timeless at the same time.

THROUGH MY LENS
Inspirations
that shape my vision.

My perspective is shaped by different cultures, languages, and encounters: I have lived in Moscow and California and speak five languages. This experience helps me understand people quickly—no matter where they come from, in which language they feel, and how differently they react in emotional moments. This is exactly what makes my work at international weddings special and allows me to tell their story the way it truly feels.
MY LIFE
outside the camera
When I am not photographing weddings, I love spending my time with my family.
We love long summer evenings by the lake, travel to the South of France almost every summer, and spend winter weekends skiing in the mountains. In everyday life, you can often find me at the pony farm with my daughter or building Lego with my son—it is precisely these small moments that make life so special for me.

A few things about me

Travel is my great passion—I have lived in Moscow, worked in California, and provide coverage for international weddings in five languages.
✓
I have worked in international companies—including Estée Lauder and BMW. This background has given me the cultural sensitivity that helps me with every couple today.

Order, symmetry, and aesthetics are my favorite pursuits, in photography as in everyday life.

I find it very difficult to start the day without my first coffee in the morning.

why i
PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS
For me, a wedding begins long before I hold the camera in my hand. It begins with your story.
I love getting to know you. Hearing how you met, what connects you, and what defines you as a couple. I memorize the names of your family and your wedding party.
Because on your wedding day, I am not just the one with the camera: I am the one who hands over a tissue, adjusts a tie once more, and fixes your veil. The one who sheds a tear along with your mother and laughs with your friends as the atmosphere becomes more exuberant. I feel with you, rejoice with you, and accompany this day with a watchful eye for all the small and large moments that make it so special.
Most of the time, you will hardly notice me. And in the moments that count—during couple portraits, the details, the quiet moments in between—I am there, with care for light, composition, and atmosphere.
Every time, I am touched anew when the first images reach you and I read your messages: full of joy over the memories of exactly those moments. That is exactly why I love weddings: for the people, the emotions, and the stories that last.
